Melodifestivalen 2024 Finalists Announced

The final of Melodifestivalen 2024, the Swedish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024. The show will be broadcast live from Stockholm and will feature 12 finalists competing for the chance to represent Sweden at Eurovision 2024 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

First Semi-Final Qualifiers Press Conference

Following the first semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2024, a press conference was held with the six qualifying artists. The qualifiers are:

• Cornelia Jakobs - "Hold Me Closer"
• Loreen - "Tattoo"
• Marcus & Martinus - "Air"
• Melanie Wehbe - "For the Show"
• Nordman - "Släpp alla sorger"
• Wiktoria - "All My Life (Where Have You Been)"

The six qualifiers will join the six finalists from the second semi-final in the grand final of Melodifestivalen 2024. The grand final will be held on March 11, 2024, and will determine who will represent Sweden at Eurovision 2024.

Eurovision Song Contest 2024

The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be the 67th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. The contest will be held in Liverpool, United Kingdom, following Ukraine's victory at the 2023 contest. This will be the ninth time that the United Kingdom has hosted the contest, more than any other country.

The grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be held on May 11, 2024. 37 countries are expected to participate in the contest, including all 26 members of the "Big Five" (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom) and 10 countries from the "Next Big Five" (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Malta, and Serbia).
